On Outreach part 3 Propaganda

You can’t chase darkness out of a dark room. But if you turn on a bright enough light there be no more darkness in the room, only light.

The light of positive Christian influence in the world through literature and media is dim. All over the world, people are being taught contrary to the Bible’s teachings through the way governments behave, popular literature, movies, music and other medias.

Greed, revenge, the right of might, coldness to unwanted adults or unwanted children (often having to do with politics) greed, waste, debasing nature or placing its importance over human welfare (again, having much to do with the political spectrum) the patronizing relegation of religion to a respected but meaningless status of “personal beliefs” are all:
1. Widely promoted and adhered to
2. Contrary to the teachings of the Bible
and
3.The cause of most if not practically all of the worlds problems.

We need propaganda. Not of the kind I’ve just been whining about, but good, moral, Biblical propaganda, and lots of it.

The competition is almost overwhelming, but thank God, it isn’t quite.

I am very proud of my part in this area. I’m proud of what my organization (The Family International) does to spread the word of God and counteract the negativity in the world.

We are a church with an entire world wide population of 13,000 (which includes children of all ages). We sell millions of books, music cds, DVDs and other products geared towards children and adults each year. Our yearly magazine distribution through sales and subscriptions is about 1 million. What’s more, is that these are good quality products I’m talking about. Books that give Bible based solutions to common problems, that teach how to use prayer, prophecy and the gifts of the spirit effectively. Music that teaches children morals, good habits, love, and the Bible with catchy, well produced songs. The children’s shows teach the principles of the Bible and living for Jesus.

Our books are best sellers by any standard, our CDs would all fall into gold or platinum categories and the shows are widely distributed, acclaimed, and are shown on TV! It’s fantastic!

We regularly have young parents that grew up on our shows and music eagerly buy our products for their own children.

Official awards and recognition for our products are many, while personal write ins praising our products are innumerable.

I don’t write this to boast, but to show that it can be done. And I know that our capacity is even much greater than our current distribution.

So, back to propaganda. The world needs all the Bible based Christian propaganda we can possibly give it. What’s at stake here, are the souls of billions of human beings. Worth any effort? I think so.

How can we do this? How can we turn up the light in this dark world? Christians everywhere need to put their minds, resources and very lives into this effort if we are to win, if we are to teach the world the love of Christ.

I admit, the scale of all this is far, far beyond me, therefore I lean towards rhetoric.

But in the end, our holy commission to preach the gospel is God’s work and not our own. All we have to do is obey and we can expect God to provide the solutions, and give us the opportunities to perform His will. We know from the Word that “all things are possible!” Therefore we know that there is a way to outshine the darkness in this dark world, especially since we are on the side of the “Light, that was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.” John Chapter 1 verse 9.

The worlds system of materialism, and the pollution of the minds of men is flawed and it will not last. God’s system is perfect and His kingdom will rule forever.

Admittedly, with or without your help or my help, God will triumph and will again rule the world.

But there is always the one, the one soul that might have lived in light had I brought it to him, the one year that might have been spent in happiness rather than fear and misery. There’s the one child that might be raised in a Godly manner if am in the place He needs me at the time He needs me. God will win in the end, but in this world of men God needs the help of men to operate in this world to perform His will. God will find someone to do His work, why not me?

Which brings us to the final “one”, that is the one life that I have that I will never have again.

Outreach Part 2 Social Workings for Make Practical uses of God's Word

A Church must have works because without the works, faith is dead and God is not obeyed. The works must be genuine, not just a show to attract attention, praise and money. The works of a Christian and a church must be done sincerely in service to God and our neighbors whom God commands us to love as ourselves.

Furthermore, the works of Christians obeying God and living His Word, are of extreme value to humanity for they come in part from the very power of God which supersedes any other power of man that tries to solve the world’s problems.

Jesus Christ had a three year ministry on earth from the time He was baptized until the time He ascended into heaven. During that time, He completely changed the entire nation of Israel and set the stage to completely change the world.

Now, there are millions of us who have access to the same power as Jesus had through God the Father.

We can change the world in this age as Jesus did in His. I believe it is well within our grasp to do so and have all humanity living by the law of Love for God and our neighbors that Jesus told us to live by, not by imposing such laws, but by laying down our desires, time and very lives to be a living sample and testimony to the power and virtue of those laws. We can prove that these laws work, and that a society can live, and be run by them.

Now, we can use a very down to earth and easily understandable term to put this into a view that we can grasp, social work, or, works that practically benefit a society.

A societies needs very from place to place, but there is nothing that well intentioned Christians, living for God and others cannot provide.

Social work, for Christians is putting that love for our fellow man into action. Christians must do what they can do and give what they can give to prove that we believe in something that works and that the world will really be at it’s best if we let God rule by obeying Him, putting others before ourselves, and sharing God’s blessings with people that don’t have what we have.

Social work, is putting the solutions that we as Christians have from the Word of God into practical everyday action that can literally run the world.

With all the various systems and political parties running the world, why not a widespread truly Bible based system?

We ourselves live it in our communes and let me tell you, it’s like heaven. We also try to put these principals into action through our community projects and volunteer work, and both recipients and onlookers simply adore us for what we do.

We are sitting on a vast power that can, and I believe will, burst onto the world scene and offer an entirely new political and social system than what’s been seen before. One based on the Law of Love. If God didn’t intent for it to be used, then why did He give it?

Get desperate with the Lord, and ask Him, what your part can be in spreading the teachings of Jesus and putting them into practical application every day.

A topic I probably should have written about before writing about football.

As you may know I am a missionary. I hold different jobs and positions within my missionary work, but the overall goal of everything is of course, to help people to believe in Jesus and His wonderful Words, and beyond that, to act on those beliefs.

We hold the answers and solutions to the worlds problems. No joke. And now, this is really something to be proud of.

Politicians offer solutions all the time, it’s their job, to provide solutions. They say they can solve a nation’s problems, that’s also their job. The cool thing about being a missionary, and one that believes the Bible to the letter, is that I and my companions, know more than most politicians and national leaders about what the world really needs. If enough people started obeying and living the Word like we do, there would be a literal heaven on earth.

The thing is, how do we get enough people to do just that? A common Christian term is “outreach”. Here I will examine some of our outreach methods and their potentials.

I’m gonna keep everything under three large and inclusive topics, building a church, social works, and *drum roll* propaganda!!! I’ll begin with…

Building a Church:

By this I mean a body of believers. Buildings are nice, but secondary, and due to my small knowledge of construction I will probably not be writing much about it.

Now, you can hand out literature and help out your neighbors for a missionary lifetime, and the printed Word and living sample will speak volumes, but you will be missing out on a major “reaping” for all your sowing unless you can get people together for fellowship, personal discussion, training, and sharing of goals and plans to accomplish them.

In our work, we have focused on this from the beginning, and the results are showing wonderfully.

Now let me say that I personally believe that most people in Mexico are saved. They’ve accepted Jesus as the Son of God and believe that He died and was raised from the dead. Therefore, I believe that our primary job is helping to change people’s lives and ultimately the country, for the better, by teaching people to live according to the Words of Jesus and the Bible in general.

The apostle Paul wrote “Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.”

Bold statement no? Yet, Paul had enough conviction in what he believed that he was willing to tell people straight out as Jesus had, to follow him.

If you know the Lord and know the Word, tell people about it. “Hey, we can study the Bible together, it’s got the solutions to your problems.” Getting

The human body is not eternal. Every Christian eventually dies, but how his or her mission in life lives on depends on what the person did during the years of life and service.

The solutions of the World are found in the Bible, so to give those solutions and enact them, one must be living according to the Bible.

It’s exciting, it’s big, it’s been done in the past, but it is also the future.

Well, I haven’t done the subject justice, but I want to get this put up, so here it is.
