Act.

Do you want to do something for God that will please Him, change lives for the better, and be a part of His plan for a better world?
First of all, we must realize that God wants us to do these things for Him and that he has a plan for each of us.
Millions of believers live and die without knowing or accomplishing the specific plan that God has for them and the world is the worse for it.
The Devil, seeking to make us ineffective in curing the hurts of mankind , is eager and available to help us review all of our sins, failures (real or imagined) and weaknesses to the extent that we end up letting these shortcomings become a wall between us and God’s plan for our lives. Therefore negative thoughts and condemnation must be recognized as being from the Devil, the enemy of God, and must be resisted.
A laughably obvious, but even still overlooked truth is that, to get something done, one must actually do it.
How simple is that? Well, not very simple actually. Jesus tells us in the Bible that whoever doesn’t take up his cross and follow Him, is not worthy of Him. Carrying a cross like Jesus did, is not necessarily easy, and the end result is sacrificing your life for the good of others. Remember also that Jesus mocked and beaten along the way by the very ones He was giving his life for. Such a thing may sound familiar to you.
Therefore, if we are to fulfill God’s will for our lives we must both believe that He has a plan for us, and then once we have found His plan, we must do it, regardless of difficulties, discomfort, or disruption of our own ideas for our lives.
How can we find God’s will for our lives? We find God’s will by asking God to tell us His will. That is no metaphor, you must literally ask God in prayer to tell you His will for your life, and then wait until He tells you either through direct words a burden on your heart or both.
Having the faith to hear from God is of course vital to this process, therefore we must have our minds cleansed and open to Him through constant reading and meditation on God’s Word, communion with Him through prayer and praise, and guarding our minds from thoughts or input that is contrary to God’s Word.
The world is full of darkness, evil is on the rise, we must act. Every generation has their own unique chance to leave the world a very different place from what they were born into. It is now our turn to use the power of God to reverse the effects of sin on the lives of men.
The story of the human race is what is at stake. Act. The redemption or damnation of souls is what is at stake. Act.
